Profoundly Nurturing
Profoundly nurturing, many-layered and for me, a spiritual experience. An image remembered from an Italian wall painting of women attending a birthing. I remember one with a bowl of water and another by the bed. It matters not that this is a biblical narrative – the important element is the tending of an important rite of passage for another. Ancient and Archetypal.
The space within which we worked was prepared before I entered. I felt it to be a safe container which invited my body to ‘speak’ and be heard.
The relationship between Sue and Susan felt very secure. They both understood each other’s healing modalities – handing over to each other as need arose over the course of the massage. (It feels so much more than a massage).
I was tended by four practiced and ‘seeing’ hands who were curious to meet whatever arose. They did so with kindness and respect – facilitating release and alignment wherever it felt appropriate. For another client the experience would be very different.
I do not hesitate to recommend this ‘treatment’ because I am confident that Sue and Susan bring their skills and gifts to meet us just as we are – and however we are.
