A weekly gift to yourself to help you re-connect and engage with your body, supporting it to be optimally well.
Too often we take our bodies for granted, expecting everything to carry on working regardless of how we neglect or abuse ourselves. So when we do have a problem, even a slight one, what do we do? Take a pain killer? Work through it? Ignore it? We may try to self-diagnose – change what we eat or drink, how we exercise, buy a new mattress! or if the problem is bad enough we may visit the doctor with a specific pain which is possibly the result of previous neglect; and often a doctor will deal with the problem and not the cause which may go back a long time!
If our bodies are forced to take on too much, they will often shut down either mentally or physically or both. I encourage those with whom I work to be kinder and more in tune with their bodies – to appreciate and love them.
Our bodies hold all the secrets and know-how for what is needed in order for our body to self-repair and heal. We must learn to trust ourselves and allow and facilitate this process to happen.
It is my aim to help and enable you to understand and listen to what your body is saying to you – accepting that our past lives will be reflected and embodied in our bodies and souls. We cannot ignore our past, but we can learn to come to terms with any problems or baggage that we may be carrying around within us.
The ideal is to heal ourselves, to find a balance in our lives that allows us to encompass and enjoy physical, emotional and spiritual well-being; this is my passion. I have spent the past 40 years experimenting, studying, experiencing, sharing, playing and working with like-minded people. I have worked, studied and learned my craft and now share it through Pilates, Shamanism, Dance, Meditation and general body-awareness.
I will seek to help you to work with your body, kindly, gently and with understanding, enabling you to blossom physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, in a safe, secure and friendly environment.
Price for Small Group Sessions: £10 for Virtual Classes Per Person
Price for Individuals – One Session: £35.00
Virtual Class Schedule:
Monday Evening Mixed Class: 6pm – 7pm
Tuesday Morning Mixed Classes: 10am – 11am
NEW Pilates Circuit Class for 2020
Friday Morning Mixed Class 9.30am – 10.15am
